This small hotel in Bagni Di Lucca offers great value for money. The prices are excellent, especially considering the location right by the river. The atmosphere created by the beautiful views adds to the charm of this place. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with large beds ideal for a good night's sleep.
All was well with this hotel.

This hotel was very good value for money and the room had a lovely view of the lake. The staff were lovely and breakfast was wonderful. We opted to eat in the restuarant in the evening which was amazing! Top class meal (its in the michelin guide).
The pool at the other hotel is about 20 minute walk away, we had bikes but without it would be quite far.

Fabulous charming hotel. Stayed in riverside room, did not experience any traffic noise on this side. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Staff extremely helpful and cheerful which makes a very refreshing change! Delicious food served in restaurant -the best vegetarian meals I've ever had! Would definitely return to this hotel due to lovely location, excellent customer service and great value for money. Only minor fault is rooms need a little attention, for example cracked tiles in bathroom.

Excellent Service and Location This hotel provided excellent service during my recent city trip. the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always available to help. the location was perfect, right by a beautiful river and surrounded by stunning scenery. I loved waking up in the morning and enjoying breakfast on the terrace with the view of the river. the rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the WiFi worked perfectly.
the service was fantastic, the location was beautiful, and the rooms were comfortable.

The hotel has a nice atmosphere (nothing of a plastic kitsh) and a great restaurant area, overlooking river Lima and the mountains (delicious breakfasts are served on a balkony there!). Great location for trekking and visiting mountain medieval villages (very picturesque!) as well as Lukka, Barga, etc.
The room was rather small. It wouldn't be bad to renovate the hotel building, mainly from outside (our room and bathroom was very ok)

Lovely hotel in an old building overlooking the river. The manager was extremely cheerful and helpful and the source of much information. He downplayed his restaurant as serving onle simple fare, but we found the food to be very well presented, very high quality and with wonderful flavour. If you stay here eat in the restaurant. We complimented him on his olive oil, and he then gave us a bottle!

Excellent small hotel in the vacinity of the villages we needed to explore as well as near Lucca. The on-site restaurant was excellent as well and the value for money the best of our trip.

Chef Roberto (he is also owner of the hotel ) cooks delicous. Each meal will be nice expierance.
Rooms on street side was distrubed by big truck noise, which started at about 4:00am at night! Take river side room (it will cost extra 20€).

The staff was exceptionally friendly and made the stay very enjoyable. The room and the hotel itself, was a beatiful example of 19th century construction and was well maintained.

We found the hotel to be an excellent place to relax and unwind. We enhoyed hearing the sounds of the river from our room and watching birds on the weir while we ate breakfast on the terrace. Having multiple windows meant we could cool the room quickly upon returning from a day of sightseeing; closing them at night reduced the noise from the road considerably. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and many spoke very good English. When requested, we were provided with a key for the main door when we needed to head out early in the morning before the front desk staff arrived. The buffet breakfast provided enough lots of choice, and the evening meals were some of the best we had on our vacation, delicious and beautifully presented.
Upon arrival, we were shown two rooms- the one we had booked, and a potential upgrade, for 16 Euros per night in addition to the booked rate. The standard room would not have been acceptable for a week's stay- it was cramped, dingy, and potentially quite noisy as it faced the road. After accepting that our room cost was going to be considerably higher than anticipated, we did enjoy the upgraded room very much, especially the nicely renovated bathroom, the excellent cross-ventilation from the three windows, and the view across the river.

Great breakfast, good restaurant, nice and helpful staff, nice bathroom
Location - it was close to a bus stop, but there were only several buses a day and train station was 2.5 km away. The room I stayed was facing street and not river (more expensive), so it was a bit noisy at night (although I expected that from other reviewers' comments).
